The Petersen House has Stories to Tell

The Petersen House, where Lincoln died on April 15, 1865, will be open throughout the theatre renovation.  It includes the room where Lincoln died and was visited by dozens of Washington dignitaries, as well as the front and back parlors where his wife mourned and where Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton interviewed witnesses to discover just what had happened that fateful night.
