Theatre

Ford’s Theatre reopened in February 2009 following its most extensive renovation since 1968 as a working theatre. Visitors from across the nation and around the world are invited inside the theatre, where they can learn more about President Lincoln and the night of his assassination or see a performance.

Through productions, educational programs and special events, Ford's Theatre works to preserve President Lincoln's legacy and continue his mission of tolerance and understanding.
