A Christmas Carol Youth Cast Open Auditions
Ford’s Theatre will be auditioning children ages of 7 to 13 for its 2024 production of A Christmas Carol on Saturday, August 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ford’s Theatre’s – Center for Education & Leadership, 514 10th St, NW (directly across from the theatre). Diverse actors are encouraged to attend. We are asking all interested attendees to sign up in advance of the open call. To sign up, please click the link below and complete the form.
Callbacks for A Christmas Carol will be held Sunday, August 25, beginning at 10 am. Decisions for callback auditions will be made by the end of the day of open calls and if we wish to see your child again, we will call you. Please do not attend auditions if you have any conflicts between October 18th and December 31, 2024. Please prepare/provide the following (document hyperlinks included):
- Children should bring a photo and resume
- Children should print and practice the male or female sides they wish to audition for
- Children should be prepared to perform a verse and chorus of a Christmas song acapella
- Review the Audition Information Sheet
- Review and return the Children’s Measurement Sheet
- Review and return the Conflict Sheet
