5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
$10 | For K-12 Educators
This event will take place at The People’s House: A White House Experience.

Ford’s Theatre is teaming up with White House Historical Association and President Lincoln’s Cottage to explore the local world of President Lincoln and the Washingtonians he interacted with day to day.  Enjoy a catered dinner and hear from historians, receive classroom resources, and collaborate with other educators as we consider:

  • Who were the Washingtonians of Lincoln’s day?
  • What kinds of people did he encounter while moving around the city and how might they have influenced his thinking?
  • How does this history impact how we think about D.C. today?

Where: The People’s House: A White House Experience (1700 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20006).

This event will include a catered dinner. We kindly ask for a $10 registration fee to offset costs. If this fee is a barrier to your attendance at this program, please email [email protected].
