National Oratory Fellows: A Celebration of Oratory

Ford’s Oratory Fellows and student delegates perform original and historical speeches.

May 8, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. – FREE

Join us for an afternoon of powerful speeches from our National Oratory Fellows and student delegates from across the country. For the first time in three years, we will welcome our fellows and students back to the Ford’s stage to recite texts that have made history. Students can also choose to share speeches they have written themselves about topics that are important to them. Hear from today’s and tomorrow’s leaders on the Ford’s stage.

About the National Oratory Fellows Program

The National Oratory Fellows is a multi-year professional development program that works with teachers to integrate oratory into classroom curriculum while also developing their unique and powerful voices. Working in collaboration with Ford’s staff and professional teaching artists, skills are strengthened in the areas of text analysis, public speaking, performance and speech writing in the classroom.
