Teacher Dialogic Toolkit

The Ford’s Theatre Dialogic Toolkit is designed to help teachers and educators provide rich experiences for their students during visits to Ford’s Theatre. Using dialogic tools found in this packet, which Ford’s Theatre developed in collaboration with the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience and the National Park Service, teachers can facilitate students’ personalized encounters with the life, death and legacy of Abraham Lincoln in the Ford’s Theatre Museum. Along the  way, learn and practice teaching techniques to deepen your instruction at Ford’s Theatre and beyond!

What’s included in the Dialogic Toolkit:

  • information about dialogic interpretation
  • language to use in the museum with your class
  • dialogic questions to inspire your students
