Teacher Preview Workshops
Join us at Ford’s Theatre for an evening created with educators in mind. We’ll begin with a complimentary dinner and a chance to connect with fellow teachers from across the region. Then, take part in a hands-on workshop where you will experience a classroom-ready lesson plan created by Ford’s Theatre. This lesson is designed to help you connect the themes of our production to meaningful learning and discussion in your own classroom.
To complete the evening, you’ll attend a free preview performance at Ford’s Theatre, giving you firsthand insight into the story your students will see. You’ll leave with practical strategies, a ready-to-use lesson plan and a deeper understanding of how the play can spark engagement before and after your student matinee.
1776 Teacher Preview Workshop will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, starting at 5 p.m.
